The team at glyFX are still working frantically as always and today they slipped out the Android Common Developer Icon Set II. This free icon set is a rework of the original Android Developer Common Icon Set, using all the details supplied by the Android Icon Design Guidelines, which was not available when the first set was created.

So you’ve been making iPhone applications for a while, you’re sick and tired of the limited amount of icons the SDK gives access too and you’re over searching the for icons that are available in the codebase that you’re “not supposed to use”. Over at glyFX we’re feeling your pain and coming to the rescue again. Earlier this month we released a free 5 icon pack of iPhone TabBar and Toolbar icons as a bit of a teaser.
Now we’ve came out with our first iphone commercial set, 5 icons in the iPhone Messaging Icon Set that are geared towards a messaging application. We’ve got Inbox, Outbox, Chat, Buddies & Status, head over and checkout the iPhone Messaging Icon Set.
Over at glyFX we’ve released a new free icon set geared towards Android applications. The Android Developer Common Icon Set has been created to ease the pain for developers creating applications in Android and to provide with icons that look and feel like those that we have seen in the SDK aswell as screenshots and videos around the web.
Theres a total of 24 icons in there, covering actions that we thought everyone could use. Of course, as always the designers are more than capable (and happy) to do more custom work for customers in this style and if theres enough backing, we’d love to do some more full sets.

The new signage at PerthWeb went up bright and early this morning, after a few months of “wheres your building im driving round looking for it and can’t find it” “it has a big TPC on the front” “oh i’m right out the front”, so i guess our customers will be happy. This also bring our new logos for PerthWeb, Webclick, glyFX & Freckle Creative to the public eye, finally!
Yes we’re aware the building needs to be blue too, that’s the next step. Continue you through to see the pictures.
Thought some of you may get a kick out of something we’ve been working on here at work. It’s a little something we call Pimp My Sled, this is just something fun we’ve done to celebrate christmas.
I’m not so much a fan of halloween as i am a fan of random holidays, thankfully no one has knocked on my door trick or treating yet, halloween is a weird holiday it’s fun, strange and unknown.
Did someone say free icons? One of the designers at glyFX was working on a dark halloweenish free set and it just happened to coincide with halloween, so he finished 5 icons up, and put them online for everyone to see and use.
